What is Capital City Pistol Shooters?

Capital City Pistol Shooters (CCPS) is an IDPA affiliated club that holds monthly IDPA matches at Capital City Gun Club.  

Do I have to be a member of Capital City Gun Club to participate?

      No, CCPS IDPA matches are open to the public; however we ask that non-members stay in the area of the match.  All participates are required to attend our safety orientation.  Click here to review the orientation. For those of you new to IDPA, click here to review the new shooter orientation.  We do not do safety orientations on match day, please email us to set up a time for your orientation.

 When are the Matches?

      Just click here to see the complete schedule.  Our Thursday night shoots are from 6:00 to sundown, shooter’s meeting at 5:45, on Sundays setup starts at 7:30, shooter’s meeting at 9:45 and start the match at 10:00.

 What is it cost?

      Match fees are $10 for members of CCPS and $15 for non-members

 What does it cost to join CCPS, what’s required?

      An annual membership for Capital City Pistol Shooters is available for $15.  With it you get to shoot for member price at the matches.  We do ask that you sign up to set up one stage for our Sunday matches.  On the day you set-up your match fee is reduced to $5.

 What do I have to do to set up a stage?

      Either design your own stage or find one you like, visit the links page to find several sites with contributed courses of fire.  Once you have your COF, show up early on the day you signed up to set up and put your stage together.
