LOCATION: Capital City Gun Club range is located 10 miles west of Topeka Kansas near I-70. At I-70 and West Union Road, go North ½ mile to NW 4th Street. Then East ½ mile to the range gate on the North side of the road. A map is provided at www.capitalcitygunclub.com/where.htm
COMPETITION OPEN TO: All NRA and Junior club members.
ENTRY FEE: Package entry fee is $20.00 adults, $15.00 juniors. $10.00 per team.
This includes a $4.50 per competitor NRA fee.
ENTRIES CLOSE: Entries will be allowed until 8:45 AM the day of competition.
There will be one relay of no more than 30 competitors.
FIRING STARTS: 9:00 AM the day of competition.
RULES: Current NRA rules shall govern.
NRA classification will be used.
Expanded Classification for juniors will be used. (Rule 19.4.1)
Challenge fee is $1:00 and jury referee system will be used.
Competitors will hang their own targets.
Quiet
and courteous coaching allowed on the line for beginners and juniors.
MATCH COURSE: Each match consists of 40 shots fired in two stages of 20 shots. The A-51 target will be used.
Match 1: Prone 20 minutes per stage.
Match 2: Offhand 40 minutes per stage.
Match 3: Kneeling 30 minutes per stage.
Match 4: Aggregate of matches 1-3.
Match 5: Two-person team match. This is not a fired match. Total of both team members score in match 4. Teams declared before match is fired.
AWARDS: Trophy to Match Winner in Match 4.
Medals or cash to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in MK, JR, IJ, SJ
Trophy or cash to winner of Match 5.
